Event Information
Our Melbourne Brewers Lunch will be held on Friday, 23 February 2024 at HopScotch in Southbank. Blackmans Brewery will provide the beer, HopScotch. will provide a 2-course meal, a professional comedian will provide entertainment, and we will be raising money and awareness for our charity partner Destiny Rescue.
We will hear from Blackmans Brewery about their business, and of course, their beers! Plus, we will hear from the CEO or ambassador of our charity partner about the important work they are doing.
Your ticket includes:
- 2-course meal
- 4 hours of Blackmans Brewery beer (5 styles for 4 hours!) – A brewer or rep will be with us to explain each of the different styles of beer on offer.
- Gin is available as an alternative to beer if preferred (not both).
- Comedy by a professional comedian.
- Charity auction and raffle.
- Professional networking.

Subject to the below, this event is STRICTLY NO REFUNDS. In the event that this event sells out and we have a waitlist of people who missed out on tickets, we may be able to resell your ticket. If we do so, we will charge a non-negotiable $30 restocking / reselling fee and will refund you the remaining amount.
Smart casual as a minimum. Many will be wearing suits.
If you would prefer gin instead of beer, please select this option when booking your ticket. Due to limited gin stock and ordering requirements for the gin, we cannot accommodate any last minute change of mind at the event from beer to gin.
We can accomodate vegan and vegetarian requirements upon request AHEAD of the event. Due to food ordering requirements, we cannot accommodate last minute change of mind at the event to a vegan / vegetarian meal.
There is no allocated seating. You are free to sit wherever you like.
No, we will be checking off attendee names against our list of registered ticket holders at the door as well as throughout the day. It is important that you register the name and details of each attendee.
Other items such as wine and spirits are not included in the ticket. Other drinks and standard menu items are available FOR PURCHASE from the venue during the event.
Given the size of our events, we must operate with a fixed menu. Accordingly, other dietary requirements are not able to be accommodated.
No. It is beer OR gin - NOT BOTH. Please do not ask. You can purchase other drinks at the venue if you wish.
The bar tab finishes at 4pm. You are welcome to stay at the venue and other drinks and standard menu items are available FOR PURCHASE from the venue.
