Event Information
Our first Gold Coast Brewers Lunch for 2025 will be held on Friday, 7 March 2025 at the Tallebudgera Surf Club (we will have exclusive use of the newly renovated large function deck!). Balter will provide 5 styles of beer, Talle Surf Club will provide a delicious 2 course meal, and a professional comedian will provide entertainment.
We will learn about our brewery partner Balter, and of course, their beers!
Our charity partner for this event is Gold Coast charity, Journey 2 Learn.
NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 140 TICKETS.
Your ticket includes:
- 2 course plated meal.
- 4 hours of a Balter beers (5 styles for 4 hours) – A brewer or rep from the brewery will be with us to explain each of the different styles of beer on offer.
- Gin is available as an alternative to beer if preferred (Note: it’s gin or beer, not both).
- Other drinks available for purchase at a cash bar.
- Comedy by professional comedian.
- Charity auction and raffle.
- Professional networking.

Journey 2 Learn provides One-on-One Early Childhood Intervention & Therapy Support Services to neurodivergent children with the primary aim of supporting inclusive access to mainstream schooling during their prime developmental years, i.e. kindergarten, prep, junior and middle school.
Journey 2 Learn supports neurodivergent children with one or more of the following diagnoses:
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and dyspraxia
- Sensory processing issues
- Other developmental disorders

This event is STRICTLY NO REFUNDS. In the event that this event sells out and we have a waitlist of people who missed out on tickets, we may be able to resell your ticket. If we do so, we will charge a non-negotiable $40 restocking / reselling fee and will refund you the remaining amount.
Smart casual at minimum – some will be in suits / some more casual.
If you would prefer gin instead of beer, please select this option when booking your ticket. Due to limited gin stock and ordering requirements for the gin, we cannot accommodate any last minute change of mind at the event from beer to gin.
We can accommodate certain dietary needs. Please note them in your ticket notes. Certain dietary requirements may not be able to be met based on venue / kitchen requirements.
There is no allocated seating. You are free to sit wherever you like.
We will be checking off attendee names against our list of registered ticket holders at the door as well as throughout the day. It is important that you register the name and details of each attendee.
Other items such as wine and spirits are not included in the ticket. Other drinks and standard menu items are available FOR PURCHASE from the venue during the event.
Given the size of our events, we must operate with a fixed menu. Accordingly, other dietary requirements are not able to be accommodated.
No. It is beer OR gin - NOT BOTH. Please do not ask. You can purchase other drinks at the venue if you wish.
The bar tab finishes at 4pm. Depending on the venue, you may be welcome to stay at the venue and other drinks and standard menu items are available FOR PURCHASE from the venue.
